About UK Data Protection Legislation
Following the UK's departure from the European Union, the UK has implemented its own data protection regime. This regime is based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as it was incorporated into UK law (the "UK GDPR") by the Data Protection Act 2018. The aim is to maintain a high standard of data protection, providing individuals with transparency and control over their personal data.
